Lincoln Movie Poster

Lincoln

Rated: PG-13

Abraham Lincoln's (played by Daniel Day-Lewis) final months in office are ones for the history books. As the nation is torn apart by war, Lincoln pursues an aggressive course of action to abolish slavery, end the civil war, and reunite the country. Lincoln draws upon his fierce determination to tackle his biggest challenges and to make critical choices that have the ability to affect generations to come. Historic and informative, this movie casts our nation's 16th president in a brand new light.

Brief strong language and intense war scenes are what give this film its PG-13 rating, and it's a little intense for younger viewers.

Nominated for: Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Costume Design, Best Film Editing, Best Music (Original Score), Best Production Design, Best Sound Mixing
