Shoelace Art Activity for Kids

Materials

• New white shoelaces
• Fabric paint or markers
• Puff paint

Directions

1. Decorate one side of each lace to your liking.
2. Dry thoroughly, then decorate the other side.
3. Do a few pairs so you can mix and match them in your shoes.

These also make nice necklaces with large colored beads added. Think of other things you could do with them, like making lots of loops and gluing them to a hair clip, wrapping them around a plastic headband, gluing them around a pencil for a better grip, gluing them on anything as decoration.
