Historical Tour
Directions:
How would you like to tour a museum while you're waiting? Well, get ready to have your child take you on an instant tour of the Anywhere Museum!
Your child can lead you on a guided walk through an office building, the subway stop, or wherever you happen to be, pointing out all of the original features (such as the stairway that was handcarved by the first carpenter in Neanderthal times), the newer additions (like the drinking fountain that was installed just after the discovery of metal), interesting furnishings (such as the chair that George Washington sat in when he came to town), and so on.
In addition, your tour guide/child can tell you about previous occupants of the house or building: their names, occupations, favorite pastimes, any additions or modifications that they made to the structure. Be sure to ask lots of questions of your guideeverything in the museum probably has a fascinating hidden history!
