Worstest Thing Possible

Directions:

If the clock hands seem to be weighted down with rocks, try this activity while you wait for your appointment. It's bound to make time speed along as your kids flex their imaginations.

Think of all the possible things that someone might come to the doctor for, then think of which animal would have the worst time of it. Take a runny nose, for instance. That would be something for an elephant! Which animal would be the worst off with a stiff neck? A giraffe certainly wouldn't have fun! Continue the game so that you cover as many animal types as you can think of. Dinosaurs count, too—a T-rex certainly wouldn't appreciate it if he had a sore throat.

You might also imagine what sorts of human treatments would be applied to the animals. A jumbo box of tissues for the elephant with the cold, an extra-long heating pad for the stiffnecked giraffe, and a chair-sized throat lozenge for T-rex.

So you've fallen and skinned your knees—thank goodness you're not a millipede!
