Before-You-Go Traveling Mail Kit
Directions:
Wouldn't you like to encourage your child to write home to friends and relatives during your trip? A personal letter-writing kit will help him or her to be ready and eager to keep those cards and letters going.
Fill a large clasp or string envelope with the following items:
- an address book, either store-bought or, better yet, one made by your child by folding sheets of construction paper in half and stapling them together on the fold
- a "special" pen or marker; that is, one that goes back in the envelope when it's not being used
- writing paper, envelopes, and postcards
- stamps for both letters and postcards
While you're at it, we'd really enjoy getting a letter from North Pole, Alaska (yes, there is such a place)!
