Who's cooking at your house? Your kids with their own stove, that's who.
Take an empty large carton, tape both ends closed, and make a door by drawing a square on the front of the box, then cutting the square on three sides so that it swings open (your job).
Next, your kids can trace circles above the door using the narrow end of small paper cups. Cut out the circles. Your kids then insert the bottoms of the cups through the holes from inside the boxpresto, instant dials. Your kids can draw designs on the dials to match those on your stove or oven.
Your kids can also easily make burners on the top of the stove by tracing circles around different-sized pan lids. Or they may want to glue paper plates on top of the boxthat is, stove.
Your kids are really cooking now!
