Intergalactic Interview

Directions:

Wouldn't you like to interview an astronaut while you're waiting? Well, designate your child an intergalactic traveler, and see whether you can snag a one-on-one conversation.

Your child role-plays a space traveler who has just returned from an intergalactic mission. As the first reporter on the scene, your job is to get all the information you can about the expedition. Ask such questions as: Which planets did you visit? How long did you spend in outer space? What did you do to pass the time while you were traveling? Did you meet any life forms on other planets? What did you find on the most interesting planets you visited? How did the moons you visited differ from our moon? What did you eat while you were traveling?

Perhaps your child brought some surprises back to earth, like some other-worldly rocks, seashells, instant pictures, plants—or even a new alien buddy. See whether you can be the first earthling reporter to speak with an extraterrestrial once you've finished interviewing your child!
