Attn: Pennsylvania Avenue

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a kid living in the White House? Perhaps it's time for a friendly letter to the First Family. To generate ideas for the letter, talk during dinner about what it would be like to live in the White House. Would a First Child have much privacy? Much fun? Many friends? Would he or she miss home? What would your child most want to know about the life of a First Child? Now choose a scribe to compose a friendly letter to the First Child. You could ask questions, or maybe even offer some advice.

(The address: 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20500) After signing off, take a family poll: Who thinks you'll get a reply from the White House?
