Crazy Street Signs

Directions

Stuck in traffic? Pass some time by turning work and road signs into wacky, funny messages.

To make the game challenging for all, suggest a couple of simple ground rules (after that, anything goes!). First off, a player can only change one word on the sign. Second, the word that gets changed must begin with the same letter as the word that takes its place. As an alternative, you might try substituting words that rhyme for the words in the sign.

Take the "Men at Work" sign over that manhole. That sign could become "Martians at Work." Or, that "No Trespassing" sign can become "No Trampolining" or "No Trapeze Acts." And that bothersome "No Parking Zone"? Why not make it the "No Barking Zone"!

Excuse me, Bowser—can't you read the sign?
