Fender-to-Fender Football
Directions:
Here's a football activity that doesn't require any special equipmentor a ref, because there aren't any penalties.
Kick off the game by choosing offense or defense. The offensive player selects a color and tells it to the defensive player. To stop the offense from making a touchdown, the defensive player must find four objects (one per down) that are the same color as that named by the offense.
If the defense can't find the right-colored objects in a specified time, or before a specified distance is covered, the offense scores a first down. The offense gets to choose another color and attempts to make another first down. Two or three first downs take you all the way down the field for a touchdown, at which point offense and defense switch goals. If the defense does find four objects, the player becomes the offense. To keep the game going, each player must choose a different (primary) color each time.
All right, sports fans, block the boredomget off the sidelines and into the game!
