Easy Gingerbread House

Build your dream house in an afternoon? This gingerbread project is so easy — and yummy — that your kids will want to build a whole gingerbread house neighborhood!

Age: Preschool through elementary
Time: 30 minutes or more
Type of activity: Arts and Crafts

Materials needed:

  • 8-10 graham crackers
  • Empty milk carton (school size)
  • Styrofoam meat tray
  • Colorful hard candies to decorate (peppermint, gumdrops, sprinkles, etc.)
  • Tube frosting with varied tips
  • White frosting
