Karate String Art
Materials
- White paper
- Tempera paints
- Baby food jars or bowls
- Strong string
Directions
Mix the paints and pour into jars. Cut the string into various lengthssix inches, nine inches, twelve inches, and eighteen inches. Tape paper down on a flat surface. Dip a length of string into paint and either drag or karate chop it onto the paper. Repeat with a different color. Cover the paper with color and line. When dry, the artwork can be used as a gift wrap or mounted and hung on a wall.
