Karate String Art

Materials

  1. White paper
  2. Tempera paints
  3. Baby food jars or bowls
  4. Strong string

Directions

Mix the paints and pour into jars. Cut the string into various lengths—six inches, nine inches, twelve inches, and eighteen inches. Tape paper down on a flat surface. Dip a length of string into paint and either drag or karate chop it onto the paper. Repeat with a different color. Cover the paper with color and line. When dry, the artwork can be used as a gift wrap or mounted and hung on a wall.
