Life-Size Me in PJs

Materials

  1. Brown wrapping paper or plain newsprint
  2. Felt marker
  3. Scissors
  4. Paints and thick paint brushes

Directions

Roll out paper and tape it down on the floor. Have your child lie down on the paper on her back or front pretending to be asleep. Trace around the outline of the child's body with a felt marker. When the child gets up, suggest that she paint on the outline as if she were going to bed. Draw and color pajamas, slippers, nightdress, and perhaps a favorite bedtime toy. When finished, cut out the outline and tape to the back of the bedroom door or above the bed.
