Trace Around
Time
- 10 to 15 minutes
Materials
- Variety of round objects that can be traced
- Pens or pencils
- Paper
Directions
Work together to trace around the lids, cans, etc.
Extensions
- Cut the circles out and sort them smallest to largest.
- Trace a circular object several times across the page so that the traced circles overlap, forming a design.
- Challenge your child to find more round objects to trace.
- Gather other objects to trace and talk about the resulting shapes.
