Trace Around

Time

10 to 15 minutes

Materials

Variety of round objects that can be traced
Pens or pencils
Paper

Directions

Work together to trace around the lids, cans, etc.

Extensions

Cut the circles out and sort them smallest to largest.
Trace a circular object several times across the page so that the traced circles overlap, forming a design.
Challenge your child to find more round objects to trace.
Gather other objects to trace and talk about the resulting shapes.
