Trace Around

Time

• 10 to 15 minutes

Materials

• Variety of round objects that can be traced
• Pens or pencils
• Paper

Directions

Work together to trace around the lids, cans, etc.

Extensions

• Cut the circles out and sort them smallest to largest.
• Trace a circular object several times across the page so that the traced circles overlap, forming a design.
• Challenge your child to find more round objects to trace.
• Gather other objects to trace and talk about the resulting shapes.
