Straw Painting

If your child has mastered the skill of blowing, she may enjoy this activity. If not, she will still enjoy using the straw as a paintbrush.

Materials

  • Tempera paint
  • Paper
  • Drinking straw

Directions

  1. Drop a bit of thin paint on a piece of paper.
  2. Give your child a straw and have her blow the paint around.
  3. If you like, add a second and third color.
  4. You can also try different types of paper for different effects.
