Shadowy Shapes

Materials

  1. Large sheets of butcher paper
  2. Crayons or felt markers
  3. Finger paints

Directions

Go outside on a sunny day and have your child stand on the sidewalk or driveway while you quickly draw the outline of his shadow onto the butcher paper. Have your child put his body into interesting shapes and trace the outline again. When the outlines are complete, have your child paint them any way he wishes.
