Sugar Ornaments

Materials:
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon glitter
  • 2 teaspoon water
  • Yarn or ribbon
Directions:

  1. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
  2. Press the mixture into Christmas-shaped cookie cutters.
  3. Poke a hole in the top with a drinking staw or a pencil.
  4. Let dry overnight.
  5. Remove from cookie cutters and string a loop of yarn or ribbon through the hole to hang.

Variation:

Use "open" cookie cutters - the ones that just outline the shape. This will allow the shapes to pop out. These look icy and sparkly on your Christmas tree.
