Special Stationery
Simple and safe (no scissors), this is a creative and satisfying project for young children. Encourage them to tailor their work to fit the personality of the recipient.
What you need:
- an assortment of stamp pads
- small stickers
- crayons, markers
- writing paper and envelopes; notepads
Before you launch into the project
- Cover your work surface with newspaper and secure it with masking tape. At clean-up time, you can scrunch up the mess and toss it in the trash.
- Protect your clothes with an oversized T-shirt or apron.
What you do:
Decorate stationery and envelopes, keeping in mind whom you plan to give it to. What words, colors, or designs might make the stationery just perfect for that person?
