Crazy Walk

Time

  • 5 to 10 minutes

Materials

  • None

Directions

  1. Following directions helps your child master the mind and body. Walk slowly around the room using music to set the pace.
  2. Call out a movement such as forward, backward, sideways, little steps, giant steps, like a cat, like an elephant, etc., and respond as quickly as possible.

Extensions

  • Try music with a different tempo.
  • Move from room to room.
  • Let your child call out the directions.
