Materials

The bill for dinner out at a restaurant
Money to pay it

Directions

The next time you are out to eat, let your child review the bill, count out the money, and pay the bill.

Extensions

Teach your child how to round numbers and help her determine the general amount of the bill before it comes.
Let your child help you determine how much to tip.
