Holiday Trifle Recipe

by Rita Richardson

In France, on the evening of December 6, the children leave a wooden shoe filled with straw for St. Nicholas. If they've been good, he leaves them gold foil-covered chocolate coins in the shoe. Well, if you don't have any wooden shoes available, you can still indulge in some chocolate anyhow. Even the kids can help you with this recipe.

Trifle
1 store bought pound cake
1 box instant chocolate pudding, prepared
1 container Cool Whip
2-3 Score Bars, broken in bits

Break up the cake and layer it along the bottom of the bowl, then layer the pudding, then the Score Bars, then the Cool Whip. Continue layering until the bowl is full. Cover with plastic wrap and chill overnight or for a few hours. Enjoy later--if you were good!
