Sponge Painting

Many different types of sponges and foam stamps are available in craft stores. Give a lucky kid on your list a variety of these sponges and stamps, some paints, and paper to help them create their own works of art.

Time frame: One to two hours

Level: Easy

What you need:

  1. Assemble the sponges, stamps, paint, and paper in the storage bin.
  2. You might want to include an apron to protect the child's clothing.

If you can, spend time with the child to help him or her get set up and share some techniques with the sponges and stamps.
