Description: Born Andre Rene Roussimoff, Andre the Giant traveled the world as one of the most recognized professional wrestlers of the 20th century. Edouard Carpentier discovered the young giant in Paris and convinces Andre to become a wrestler. The professional world of wrestling branded his stage name in history, calling him "Andre the Giant Eighth Wonder of the World." In the '70s and '80s Andre had fame, money and fortune.
