Description: Francis Larson is a young, overweight, social outcast who while innocent confesses to the murder of his classmate. With the help of his rich, eccentric uncle, Francis fakes his suicide and begins an amazing physical and personal transformation so he can return to solve the mystery and bring the real killer to justice. His Uncle Bobby plans an elaborate scheme that includes buying the resort town's "sacred" Amusement Park in order to help Francis (now turned Frank) When Frank arrives, undetected by his classmates, he builds a romantic relationship with his childhood crush, Jackie Newmar, using her to gain a closer link to the real killer. Meanwhile, his Uncle Bobby creatively turns the town upside down to remind the townsfolk of their horrific past. As a result, the town is abuzz with rumors that the "ghost" of Francis Larson has returned. Now the mayor and sheriff must try to restore order in this otherwise peaceful resort community.
