Description: Following her documentary on Dutch war memory, 2 Minuten Stilte A.U.B (1999), noted filmmaker Heddy Honigmann directs this look at Dutch U.N. peace troops. The filmmaker interviews a variety of veterans from the Korean War to NATO's air campaign over Kosovo. As they each recount the horrors and terrible responsibilities they endured, they also remember a specific song that somehow kept them sane, from Puccini's Nessun Dorma to Guns N' Roses version of Knockin' on Heaven's Door. This film was screened at the 2000 Rotterdam Film Festival.~ Jonathan Crow, All Movie Guide
