In this fourth installment of the animated favorite, Scrat's endless pursuit of the "cursed acorn" triggers a continental cataclysm, resulting in the greatest adventure of all time for Sid, Manny, and Diego.

In the wake of these Earth-changing upheavals, Sid is reunited with his grumpy old grandma. The crew also encounters a group of seafaring pirates with an agenda. Will the gang all make it home safe, or will the pirates prevent that from ever happening?
