Man of Steel Movie Poster

Man of Steel [PG-13]

Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) is no ordinary human. Born on the planet Kypton by the name of Kal-El, he is sent by his parents to live on Earth, where he is raised by a kindly farmer named Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner) and his wife Martha (Diane Lane). While all appears normal on the outside, inside Clark lies a superhuman power — one he must use when planet Earth is attacked by forces far greater than anything the human race can defend themselves against. Can Superman save humankind, or is the world doomed to fall to the evil forces sent by Clark's own birth planet?

Crude language, and intense scenes of violence and destruction might make this movie a little too scary for kids under the age of 13.

In theaters June 14.
