Maleficent [PG]

Did you ever wonder about the life of the iconic villain from the Disney classic "Sleeping Beauty?" Maleficent (Angelina Jolie) had an idyllic childhood growing up in a peaceful forest kingdom. But, when an army of humans invades the land and Maleficent fights to protect it, she suffers a betrayal so great that it turns her kind heart to stone.

Bent on revenge, she faces an epic battle with the king of the humans and places a curse on his newborn daughter, Princess Aurora (Elle Fanning). As the princess grows up, Maleficent soon comes to realize that Aurora may be the one who holds the key to peace in the forest, and to Maleficent's happiness.

In theaters now.
