When the Game Stands Tall Movie Poster

When the Game Stands Tall [PG]

Inspired by a true story, this movie tells the classic underdog tale of legendary football coach Bob Ladouceur (played by Jim Caviezel) and the De La Salle High School Spartans.

Ladouceur took the Spartans from obscurity to a 151-game winning streak from 1992 to 2003, shattering records for any sport in American history. Although Ladouceur retired in January 2013 after winning his last Open Division state championship in December 2012, his legacy is one for the record books. Sports fans and parents will both love this inspiring and heart-warming tale.

In theaters August 22.
