Jack was the only dad Julius ever knew; he took him in as his own when Julius' father died, and now in death he's willed him his sole asset - a run-down bar that should have been condemned years ago. Subsequently consumed by loneliness and desperation, Julius finds himself spending more and more time with Jack's estranged daughter Erica (Laura Keys). Erica is the queen of the quick-fix solution, and before long Julius is convinced that his life is still on the right track. But Erica's intentions may not be as noble as Julius initially assumes. His money now lost to drugs and terrifying hallucinations causing him to quickly lose his grip on reality, Julius will have to look past the drugs and find out what's really corroding his soul if he ever hopes to step off this dangerous path and finally pull his life together.~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide
