Description: This filmed version of one of the top Broadway shows of its time has young Phil Dolan, Jr. quitting vaudeville to earn his living as a composer. Through a circuitous set of circumstances one of his compositions, "Slaughter on 10th Avenue," is staged by the Russian Ballet and Junior becomes involved with the company's prima ballerina.
