Description: It would appear that Cesar has everything going for him - he's charming, rich and unbelievably handsome. But as we find out in Open Your Eyes, appearances can be deceiving. On the night of his twenty-fifth birthday Cesar meets Sof'a, and for the first time, thinks that he may have found the ideal woman. After spending an evening laughing, talking and falling in love, Cesar leaves Sofia and is confronted by Nuria, an old girlfriend who he callously snubbed the night before. Upset at the way she was treated, Nuria begs Cesar for another chance, pleading with him to get in her car. Once in the car, Cesar realizes that he's made a grave mistake. In a jealous rage, Nuria drives her car off of the road, killing herself and disfiguring the once striking Cesar. After the fateful crash, fantasy and reality begin to blend together. Cesar wakes up in a psychiatric prison, undergoing evaluation for a killing that he can't quite remember. Working with a psychiatrist, Cesar leads us through the events that took place after the crash, trying to desperately figure out how he ended up in such a nightmare. If he can remember his face being fixed, then why does he still wear a mask? If Nuria died in a car crash, how did she come back to life? If Sofia was his true love, then why did he kill her? Is Cesar living in a dream or has he gone mad?
