Entangled within the strong ties of a violent barrio underworld, "Dinero" falls for a girl who brings positivity to his life. He then decides to conceal his connection to the hood from her. Soon, Edgar has the opportunity to make a run for it, but he fears he will never be able to hide from the scores of corrupt cops or shake the full-blown turf war that consumes his crew. "Dinero" is asked the ultimate question: Will he succumb to the violence of the barrio, or will he listen to the beat of his heart and fulfill his goal of becoming a star in his own right?
