Hobbit Battle of the Five Armies, 2014 movie

The Hobbit: Battle of Five Armies

Rated: PG-13

Having reclaimed their homeland from the dragon Smaug, the Company of Dwarves have a new battle to fight. Obsessed with his reclaimed treasure, Thorin sacrifices friendship and honor to hoard it. As Bilbo attempts to reason with him, even greater dangers, unseen by any but Gandalf, lay ahead — legions of Orcs are coming to attack the Lonely Mountain. As darkness converges, the races of Dwarves, Elves and Men must decide — unite against the Orcs or be destroyed.

Fighting scenes and some graphic images give this movie its PG-13 rating, and might be too scary for younger kids.

Nominated for: Best Sound Editing

Next: Captain America: The Winter Soldier
