Quiet-Time Activity for Little Ones

Spend some quality quiet time with your child with this simple outdoor activity. Just take a blanket, pillows, and some books outside -- and relax!

Materials

  • Blanket
  • Books
  • Pillows (optional)

Directions

  1. After lunch on a hot summer day, spread out your blanket in a shady spot under a tree.

  2. Take your child's favorite books and toys, something cool to drink, and maybe a pillow.

  3. Read, play, tell stories, or simply take a leisurely nap-both of you!
