Let your child help you prepare cookies in the shape of letters. Once the cookies are baked, use them to spell words before eating them!

Materials
- Rolling pin
- Alphabet cookie cutters
- Cookie dough
Directions
Work together to help prepare some homemade or purchased cookie dough, rolling it thin so you can each cut out the letters from your names. Include the names or initials of friends and family members to give as gifts.
Extensions
- Help your child think of words like best, funniest, nicest, etc. and deliver cookies beginning with those letters.
- Cut out your child's whole name with cookie letters and eat one letter each day.
- Frost and decorate the cookies for a more festive product.
