Homemade Silly Putty

Silly Putty is even more fun when you and your preschooler make it from scratch!

Homemade Silly Putty


Materials

  • 2 parts white glue
  • 1 part liquid starch
  • Small mixing bowl
  • Airtight container

Directions

  1. Combine glue and starch in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Let dry until the putty is workable.
  3. You may have to add a bit more glue or starch. (This may not work well on a humid day.)
  4. Experiment!
  5. Store in an airtight container.
