Laughing Hands

Directions

This activity involves two people.

  1. One person stands or sits directly in front of the other with hands behind the back. It is important that this person's arms do not show.
  2. The front person provides the voices and facial expressions for the scene.
  3. The person in back extends his or her arms around the front person and is the hands.
  4. Pick scenes to act out that would involve hand movements such as putting something together, eating at a restaurant, brushing teeth, and washing your face.
  5. This is fun to do in front of an audience, so get family members or neighbors to watch.
  6. Let each person have a chance to be the "hands."
