Grace (Nicole Kidman) is a devoutly religious wife with two ailing kids. She moves with her family to mansion on the coast of England while she awaits her husband's return from World War II, even though he has been declared missing. When Anne begins to see ghosts, Grace just thinks it's her new, eccentric, servants.
