Here's a quick and simple recipe for a healthy side dish that goes with any meal.
Serves 4
Ingredients:
- 2 TB. olive oil
- 8 to 10 large chard leaves, washed and chopped, stem sections separated
- 1 TB. balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper
Directions:
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sauté chard stem pieces for three minutes.
- Add leaves, cover, and cook for three more minutes, removing the cover to stir every minute, or until leaves are wilted.
- Drizzle with balsamic vinegar, and serve, seasoning to taste with salt and pepper.
