About the Author


Jeff Kinney was born in Maryland and attended the University of Maryland, where he wrote and drew a comic called "Igdoof" for the campus newspaper. Jeff worked on Diary of a Wimpy Kid for six years before publishing it online at Funbrain.com. In 2006, he signed with Harry N. Abrams to turn his webcomic into a print series. Jeff currently is an online design director right here at Family Education Network, where he created the kid site sensation, Poptropica.com. He lives in southern Massachusetts with his wife and two sons.
