The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

Rated:PG-13

J.R.R. Tolkien's beloved tale is taking over the big screen. Adapted by the creative forces behind the Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey follows the title character Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) on his journey to the Lonely Mountain.

Bilbo is a quiet hobbit who prefers the comfort of his own home, until he's visited by the wizard Gandalf the Grey (Ian McKellan) and a band of dwarves. Against his better judgment, Bilbo becomes part of a dangerous journey. As they set off to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor, they must contend with challenges like the goblin tunnels, where Baggins meets Gollum — a creature that will change his life, and the lives of countless others, forever.
