The third installment finds Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Gloria the Hippo, and Melman the Giraffe desperate to get home to New York after being stranded on the shores of Madagascar. But before they make it back to their homeland, they find themselves traveling through Europe — and straight into the path of a traveling circus. As a result, the gang joins up with the other circus animals for a hysterically unforgettable circus act — Madagascar-style, of course.
