Rated: PG-13
Release Date: November 16
This historic and informative film focuses on Abraham Lincoln's (played by Daniel Day-Lewis) final months in office. As he struggles to unite a nation torn apart by war and evolving times, Lincoln pursues a course of action designed to abolish slavery, end the war, and bring the country back to a united front. With the fierce determination the 16th president was known to have, his biggest challenge proves to be making critical choices that have the ability to effect generations to come.
Brief strong language and intense war scenes are what give this film its PG-13 rating, and is a little intense for younger viewers.
