Here's a movie that explores the evolution of parenting styles over the decades. Artie (Billy Crystal) and Diane (Bette Midler) agree to watch over their three grandchildren when the kids' type-A helicopter parents must leave town for work. When they use their go-to parenting techniques of tough rules, lots of love, and old-fashioned games, they soon realize how different the world of parenting has become. As they struggle to navigate these new rules, they realize that learning to compromise, and undying family love, are two rules that will never go out of style.
