One Day Ahead

Get your camera ready. Thanksgiving memories can be so special, you've got to immortalize them in photos. In the past, that used to mean stocking up on film, but these days your biggest concern is to make sure your digital camera's battery is charged. Make a note on your to-do list to plug it in the night before. Then, make sure to designate someone the official photographer - this is a great job to give to a teen.

Set the table. The night before Thanksgiving is likely to be the last few hours of calm before the holiday storm. It's a perfect time to make sure all the place settings - with place cards - are set as they should be. Double-check that food and drinks are all in their right places, and that your oven and stove are ready to go. You're all set to host your best Thanksgiving ever. Now get some sleep!
