Asking "What would happen if...?" is a great activity that promotes creative thinking in toddlers.

Directions

  1. This is a great activity to promote creative thinking in young children.
  2. Ask your child some "What would happen if . . ." questions.
  3. For example, "What would happen if the dinosaurs came back"? or "What would happen if cars could fly"? or "What would happen if broccoli tasted like chocolate"? or "What would happen if all the trees were red"? and so on.
