Learning Experience
Children will enjoy communicating their perceptions, ideas, and understandings about the earth's creatures — and their interchange with the environment — through puppet-making and drama. This art-based project can be done individually, with family members, or with community or school groups. The interdisciplinary approach encourages children to combine science and communication skills with the visual arts.

This learning experience was adapted from the 1993-94 Crayola Dream-Makers guide EARTH, SEA & SKY, Edition 6, authored by Diann Berry, director of art education at Binney & Smith.
