Describe your Halloween celebration idea:
Our local Audobon Society hosts a nighttime hike in the woods each year around Halloween time. They take groups of people out into the woods on their property to listen to the sounds of the night critters and teach about animals like owls and bats. It's a wonderful way to celebrate the nature of the season.

What steps should be taken to organize this celebration?
Contact your local outdoor or wildlife groups to see if anyone is hosting such a thing (or would be willing to). Tickets may need to be purchased in advance. In our area this is a popular event, so tickets do sell out ahead of time.
